Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

A double stroller is essential if you are expecting twins or have two children of the same age. The top double strollers provide different ways to ride your children with side-by-side seating and an attachment for a board.

Lauren Ro, a writer and strategist, has a favorite is the Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono, which is easily adapted as your family grows. It can fit two infant car seats as well as an infant seat. This makes it an excellent choice for twins.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the best twin stroller for families that want a stylish double side-by-side stroller. It is a bit larger than other Bugaboo strollers however it feels sturdy and built to last. It has a handlebar that is adjustable that can be extended and retracted easily. It has a decent reach so my husband, who is 6'1" is able to easily push it, even when it is full of weight.

The seats are comfortable and can be positioned so that one child is behind the other or have children face each one. They can also recline separately from one another. The canopies are large and cover both fabric if desired. However, they don't provide enough ventilation, which makes them feel like a small oven on hot days. They also don't have a peek-a-boo window to see the children.

One of the most distinctive features of this stroller is its ability to grow with your family from one seat (Mono mode) to grow to a double side-by-side stroller. This is the only stroller that can be converted that can do this! It can be used in conjunction with a bassinet for newborns or a car seat.

It is simple to use on smooth surfaces, and it is able to handle stairs and slopes well. It can be difficult to maneuver around busy stores and restaurants. It is also a little difficult to fold, particularly when the seats are connected. It is still fairly compact though, and it can be tucked away easily.

There is an extra storage bin that fits on the frame to the front seat in mono mode. This is useful for groceries and other things. The main storage basket beneath the seats is big and can accommodate up to 100 lbs. This is more than any other stroller on our list!

Uppababy Vista V2

This stroller is one of the best twin strollers designed for newborns. It is compatible with a variety of bassinets and infant car seats (adapters sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller straight out of the box. It can even accommodate two bassinets or infant car seats at the same time when you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.

The V2 is a more refined version of the original Vista. The toddler seat is about an inch higher, the footrest is more space, and the canopy comes with a zip-out fabric extender that provides additional coverage. The harness has been updated since it doesn't need to be re-threaded. This makes it much easier to adjust.

The stroller is equipped with big wheels (8" in front and 11.5" in back) and a sturdy suspension system that can take on any terrain. The front wheels are made of rubber which makes them suitable for navigating gravel, rocks and cobblestones, while the rear wheels have more tread to conquer the grassy hills and sidewalks.

Another excellent feature is the possibility to connect a child's bike to the front of the stroller, making it an ideal option for parents who aren't keen on using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. And if you have an older child who is ready to stand in the Vista, the Vista can even fit a third kid with its piggyback ride-along board accessory.

Vista Vista is simple to use and to install. However, it takes some time to get rid of the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow and there's also a YouTube video to help if you need more help.

Thule Urban Glide 3

The Thule Urban Glide 3 is the newest version of this popular all-terrain stroller and it's designed to draw the attention of modern families who prioritize style, sustainability, and adventure.  double jogging stroller  got exciting new features that include a built-in leg rest and updated reclined seat that provides unbeatable comfort for children during long walks and jogs. Its sleek, agile design improves its mobility.

It is extremely light, making it easy to drive and speedy to accelerate on the open road. Its suspension can handle sudden changes in surface (such as pavement to grass) and the large tires are able to withstand any terrain. It can easily climb kerbs without difficulty and can turn in tight spaces like city streets with ease. Even narrow sidewalks and parks with lots of people are not a problem.

The brand new Urban Glide 3 is a superior jogger that offers parents an abundance of comfort and convenience. This includes an oversized canopy that offers great sun protection, a convenient peekaboo window, a top-quality harness system and a handbrake integrated with a perfectly in-tuned lever. It also comes with ample storage, with in-seat storage pockets as well as a large cargo basket that can hold up to 15 pounds, with a zip-top cover.

This Thule Jogger also comes with bassinets, ideal for strolling babies and a double version to accommodate two children. It can be used with car seat adapters so that you can use the infant carrier of your child, and it features a simple one-handed fold to make it easy to transport and store. It's also a green option because it uses solution-dyed fabric in its black color options.

Cortina Together

Cortina Together is designed for growing families and offers parents the option of seating to accommodate the preferences and needs of each child. The two seats in the double stroller feature canopies that are reclining and backrests that are separate. They're also designed to take one of Chicco's #1-rated KeyFit or KeyFit 30 infant car seats in the front seat and rear seat (car seat sold separately) with the exclusive click-in attachment without the need for adding straps and bars, as many other models need.

A large, zipper-accessible basket on the rear offers ample storage space for your equipment. The handle is padded to fit dad or mom. The tandem double stroller's suspension and wheels offer a smooth ride across all terrains, and the one-touch rear brakes that are linked and have a toe-tap activation make stopping easy.

In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well for ease of use. This metric is based on the ease with which it is to fold and set up the stroller. It also considers how easy it is for you to open and close the snack tray as well as engage and deengage brakes, lift the stroller when folded and then carry it as if it were a trunk.

We did find some drawbacks to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds fully loaded, which puts it closer to the top of our metric. Additionally, it is not able to see clearly in the back seat when the car seat is fitted. The front tray release can be difficult to use, particularly after prolonged usage. Despite these issues, we think that this is a great stroller to have for your family.

Jeep Double Stroller

The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is an affordable, lightweight stroller that's perfect for families with two children. Its front swivel-lock wheels rotate to allow it to be maneuvered on flat surfaces and ensure stability on bumpy surfaces making it easy to go where you want to go. It also comes with a compact umbrella fold that folds down in seconds and stands upright for easy transportation. Its lightweight aluminum frame along with the foam handles and carrying strap make it one of the easiest to lift double strollers we tested.

This stroller has independent reclining seats to ensure maximum comfort. Its large canopy offers UPF 50 protection and includes an open view for easy monitoring. We wish the canopy was ventilated to allow for more airflow, however. We were not happy the fact that the cup holder sits quite high up on the frame. You'll need to bend down to reach it.

In our tipping test it was found that the Jeep was able to tip over at a 39 degree angle, which is higher than average for the double pram. It's a little heavier however, it has more storage for the price. The handle and seats are also well-padded.

The stroller is multi-functional and offers three modes. It can be used as a cart (for things) or Jogger mode (with two safety belts with five points for kids) as well as a car seat mode. It can accommodate one car seat for infants, but pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is 6 months old before jogging with them. They should also be one year old before letting them run on rough terrain. It is available in black and comes with a lifetime warranty.
